Little daily notes -Cram school

I just finished cram school, and I’m hungry now.
Today’s class was tough, I think — probably because we started a new topic: crimes. It’s such an intriguing subject!
Honestly, it was a bit challenging for me because there were so many strange and difficult words.

At one point, the teacher asked, “What do we call the men who handle security in a building?”
I answered confidently: “Security guards!”
Then the teacher laughed out loud. Maybe he thought, “I’m being hard on you because I know you can do better.” (恨鐵不成鋼那種感覺 😅)

My answer was really close — the correct one was just “guards.”

Anyway, I’m determined to learn more crime-related vocabulary over the next week.
I plan to search BBC and CNN news articles — and maybe even take a tip or two from Sherlock Holmes. 🔍🕵️‍♂️
