IELTS Writing- Task 2 -Strict punishments in schools

In recent years, there has been an increase in bad behavior, poor discipline, and anti-social behavior in schools and many argue that tough measures and stricter punishments by schools, parents and others are necessary to stop this trend. 
 
What are the advantages and disadvantages of stricter discipline for young people?

One drawback of having strict discipline in school is that it may stifle individuality and creativity. The students be required to obey the school's discipline in their behavior. If they don't follow the rules, they will be punished . It could affect student's motivation to create new ideas and express their opinion. Such as they can't unleash their creativity, it can decrease their confident and motivation of studying and social. The other drawback of that is strain on relationship. When students make a mistake unintentionally, they would be punished by their teacher. Student keep staying at a harsh discipline environment for a long time, they would feel anxious and depressed. Additionally, that environment can strain on relationship among teachers and classmates.
